Prepare your mould

Whether it's a 3D print, clay, wood, a seashell, or a potato. The MY YARD vacuum former will copy the shape immediately.

Select task

Select the correct vacuum mode and place your material sheet in the vacuum former. Select or set the heating parameters and the MY YARD machine will heat up the material accordingly and evenly.

MY YARD vacuum formers can work with various types of materials, suited to different applications. Find out more about the materials:

Soft - TPU

Our TPU (thermoplastic polyurethanes) sheets are odourless and biodegradable. This environmentally friendly material makes it easy to take your shape out of the mould. It also has high tensile strength and is safe for skin contact, making it ideal for making moulds.

HIPS

High impact polystyrene (HIPS) sheets can pick up fine details during vacuum forming. They are also quite rigid and easy to colour, making them suited for cosplay props, masks, and many other applications.

PET

Our PET (polyethylene terephthalate) material is made of 80% recycled PET bottles. With its high transparency and impact resistance, it is especially suitable for packaging, chocolate moulds and other applications requiring high transparency and high impact strength.

LDPE

Low density polyethylene (LDPE) is a light-weight, flexible and strong material, making it ideal for all kinds of fine forming applications. These sheets are great for vacuum forming over concrete or plaster items, or for making resin casting moulds. They can reproduce the fine details of the object, similar to what you would get with silicone. LDPE is also the only material that does not stick to resin (epoxy) objects.

You can also use our vacuum formers with a wide variety of other materials. Our machines have a built-in materials database where you can find the correct presets for popular materials.
If you want to work with a material that is not in the database, then you can configure the temperature and pressure manually.
