How to make a rotating snack bowl with a vacuum former

Learn how to make a rotating snack bowl using the MY YARD FORMART 2 vacuum former.
A vacuum former gives you a lot of options to make fun objects, like a snack bowl on wheels! The video below shows you how to make this bowl using a 3D printer and a MY YARD vacuum former.

Materials
- PET sheet, 0.8 mm
- HIPS sheet, 1.0 mm
- 6 M3x10 blind head screws
Instructions
- Download the STL files and print them with your 3D printer. You will need to set a 1.5 mm shell with 20% infill.
- Once you have all the parts, put the mould for the bottom part of the bowl on your vacuum former and use the HIPS sheet to form the shape.
- Then put the mould for the top part of the bowl on your vacuum former and use the PET sheet to form it.
- Cut out the hole from the top part.
- Clean the parts to remove any residue or dust before you begin assembling the snack box.
- Screw the wheel supports onto the base with the blind head screws, as demonstrated in the video.
- Attach the wheels to the frame with the 3D printed screws.
- Place the bottom part of the bowl in the frame.
- Place the top part of the bowl on the bottom part and screw on the 3D printed nuts to fix it in place.
