Vacuum forming for desserts in the Mondial des Arts Sucrés 2022

Taiwan’s famous chef, Jeffrey Wang, won the 4th place in the Art of Dessert Competition in Paris with MY YARD FORMART 2.

Taiwan’s famous chef, Jeffrey Wang, won 4th place in the Mondial des Arts Sucrés 2022 (World Cup of Dessert Arts) in Paris with MY YARD FORMART 2.

The 7th Mondial des Arts Sucrés was held in Paris, France from 28 to 31 October 2022, attracting teams from 16 countries to participate in the competition. Taiwan's famous dessert chefs Jeffrey Wang and Tong Yi-jing represented Taiwan and won fourth place, which is the best result in the history of Taiwan's participation in this competition!

The team chose an Amazon rainforest theme for their culinary creations and used our FORMART vacuum forming machine to make beautiful plant-shaped moulds. Sugar syrup was poured into pre-made moulds created with the vacuum former, replicating the delicate texture of plants and fruits. He then used his exquisite candy pulling skills to create wonderful amazonian displays.
